The following are resources I highly recommend, from products to people that have been a great help to me as I try to bring this thing into reality. I am proud to be an affiliate of some of these great resources. I hope they will be of great benefit to you as well!
Wealthy Affiliate – Internet Marketing Support, Web Hosting & MUCH more
Wealthy Affiliate is where I have this website hosted, where I get training and support from other entrepreneurs all around the world, where I register and secure all of my domains and where I’ve learned the most about the world of online marketing and communication, constructing websites, social media, SEO, keywords and so much more than I could ever properly summarize here.
I cannot recommend Wealthy Affiliate more highly, even if all you want to do is have a place to create your own free website with a FREE level of training and support. As far as I’m concerned, this is the only place to do it. If you’re more interested in a Premium membership and really diving into the world of internet marketing to fuel your passions, click here for a quick summary. And if you do join in, you’ll find me in there as “KevinNSM” (No Schedule Man). If you have questions about WA, let me know and I’ll be happy to help you out!

Steinberg UR12 Audio Interface (with Cubase AI) – I used to make song demos with a Fostex digital 8-track recorder. I now use it primarily for recording my podcast, and I realized I’d need to be more agile and able to record directly into my PC and to noodle around with a Digital Audio Workstation (which you’ll need if you’re going to work with something like EZDrummer, below). I found this unit and have really enjoyed it. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and came with an entry-level version of Cubase, which I am slowly figuring out as I go. At the very least, it allows me to do basic recording, though its capabilities far exceed my level of skill at this point. So please don’t take the sound of my Mutineer demos as a limit to what this equipment and software can do. Rather, look at it as an example of what you can accomplish even if you don’t really know what you’re doing! That’s me. Anyway, as for the UR12, I’ve been happy with it. I have no issue recommending it.
EZDrummer by Toontrack – The links here are for EZDrummer 2. I am still working with the entry-level version, and as you can hear from the demos, I haven’t done much with it other than set the rhythm and let it run. As with my note on the UR12 and Cubase, above, please don’t take the sound of my demos as a limit to what this software can do. I just haven’t put much time to it, and I’m not a drummer (obviously). But the capabilities of this program are astounding. If I were to put even a little more effort and energy into it, I’m sure the results would show. But even then, I love having EZDrummer to work with, and highly recommend it. Note: you’ll need some kind of Digital Audio Workstation host (like Cubase, or Reaper, or something like that) in order to get EZDrummer to work for you. Make sure you do your research on that before you buy EZDrummer.
More to come!
